And suddenly you find yourself
scrolling through pessimistic and downtrodden love quotes
shaking your head defiantly
because you're sure that what you're feeling
won't ever fade
but little do you know
you've had this mist covering your eyes
shielding you from life's harsh sting of reality
for about two months now
and it's just a matter of time
